  1. Yep, that's how I do it. Reliable charities are the most efficient way of getting help to the people. Just make sure to research the charity to make sure they're spending the money effectively.

  2. Yep, there's not a lack of shelter space, it's other issues. We've got a homeless camp next door and somebody is going to get killed. I'm not talking about crime, but they keep stealing electricity by wiring into the building wires and have already started one fire that required the fire department to come put it out. I think we should give them all safe, if minimalist, housing and then crack down hard on people choosing to live in the streets. There's nothing humane about letting the camps take over entire parks.
