Sadly, even just putting things back the way they were before the previous GOP rule would be a significant step in the right direction. As it is, we're lucky to get 3/4 of the changes reverted when a Democrat is elected.

Yes, but then there needs to be some enforcement mechanism when they lie. There's yet to be any real reckoning about Obama's lies and failure to use any of the power he was given to effect change. He had super majorities in both chambers of congress and all we got was Republican policies and nothing.

@matthewschwartz6607 They absolutely did, look it up. It didn't last very long because they didn't use it to help the people, but they definitely did have one long enough that they could have gotten the ACA through.

@matthewschwartz6607 Obamacare is a pretty good example, they had a supermajority in both chambers, and he then spent the time lying about the fact that he couldn't even get a public option through. He chose not to, he could have whipped the votes. Every single blue dog that held it up was voted out of office the next election anyways.
