They're going to keep at it as long as we've got candidates that will let them get away with it. The only thing that's going to change it is if they have so few voters that they can't fundraise. It's not even about winning and hasn't been for decades, as long as they're still able to siphon off donor money, this will continue. It's why they don't care about losing to horrible Republican candidates, they can raise even more money like that than if they have good candidates themselves.

@jamesirwin7677 TBH, I think he should have worked a deal with Tulsi weeks ago to be his VP pick if he wins the primary. She could and would have gone after Biden for all this stuff that Bernie is too weak to go after him for. Hell, she had that lawsuit against Hillary for claiming she was a Russian Asset. It was never going to go anywhere, but she's clearly got the necessary balls to do what needs to be done during the campaign.

Probably not, if anything, it seems to be improving Biden's chances, rather than Bernies. Now, had this happened earlier in the process, it might have discouraged enough older voters from voting Biden to make a difference.
