  1. That's the thing, the media tends to get the money from the same place as the politicians do. She failed miserably to do anything when she had leverage and then she overplayed her hand when the GOP was seriously looking to give in to her demands. She couldn't or wouldn't articulate what good enough would have been and even under the most favorable case, she was screwing over the essential workers that were keeping this country from complete collapse.

Pramila Jayapal is not a progressive, she still takes corporate money, she voted for Pelosi as Speaker of the House, failed to make a stand on any of the pandemic relief bills to help ordinary people and in general has been a disappointment as our representative. In fact, I voted for the Republican opponent because she's such a failure as a representative.

  3. That's what makes fauxgressives like Jayapal such a disappointment. She represents Seattle and she still backed Pelosi for Speaker and still failed to make any meaningful attempt at getting help for the people in those relief bills. If a district like that can't elect a real progressive, then we've effectively lost already.

  4. It does, but even if we had lost seats, but managed to take down high ranking Democrats, that would still be a marked gain.
