@sandyreinhart3772 Hard to say, but this is a level of sloppiness that a typical highschool marching band probably couldn't get away with. I don't know if it's intentional or the result of people expecting that it would get called off the way that it did during his last term, or just not appropriate time to drill to get it right.

@MoDeLi370 Definitely, I think the question though is whether this was on purpose or just the usual incompetence and lack of attention to detail that typifies this administration. I also wonder how much of this is the units being responsible for paying for their efforts at the expense of whatever else they might normally be doing.

@Bunsybuiltit He could and should have gotten on Garland to get it done sooner. He also could have done a lot more to bolster the guardrails on this stuff to make it harder for Trump to circumvent. He could have chosen not to run again and had a proper open primary to find the strongest candidate with the strongest message. He could have given everybody health care during the portion of the pandemic he was in charge of In short, there is rather a lot that Biden chose not to try to prevent us from getting here.

@babetteshaw It's not ignorance, Biden could have done a lot more, he just chose not to get on Garland to get those charges in sooner so that it couldn't be slow walked until after the election.
