  2. This is what happens when 2 parties have a monopoly over power in congress and one of them has a fetish for being bipartisan. The GOP didn't used to be so crazy, but since they no longer have to worry about being seen as non-crazy to independents as the Democrats move further to the right, there's no longer the moderating pressure of having to try to poach some leftish folks and independents to put together a coalition.

  4.  @scottshawn70  Yes, although fans subbing in Luke is kind of required anytime somebody wants to say that out of context for people to understand the reference. So, not technically the quote, but pretty much mandatory if you wish to use it and be understood.
