  1. Christianity is pretty much doomed no matter what. This sort of freak out is just another nail in the coffin. The whole thing is an absolutely damning indictment of Christianity as a whole that there's so much gasping and clutching at pearls even as the religion is used to justify crimes against humanity and abuse of ones fellow people.
