There's always going to be insecurities when that's such a significant portion of your job. Not to mention that there are a lot of possible accents and depending upon whom you're hanging out with, it can make it seem like yours is worse than it really is. I grew up 4 blocks from my best friend, but he still makes fun of me for the way that I pronounce roof.

@mikevignola4213 Yep, but I imagine it depends on how popular British programming is in your particular neck of the woods. Around here PBS regularly had various programs from the UK. The DVD set was released in the US several years before House had its first episode.
