  1. The way he uses the term metro is nonstandard and I don't think even a word. He means a subway. It's also misleading because Seattle has more than one light rail system that are independent of each other. We built 3 independent systems, 2 street cars and one that's above, below and on the ground in various places. Trying to bury a line completely in a city wth huge hills would require some stations to be several hundred feet below ground.
