  1. Iran has to retaliate over this, considering that this is in retaliation for acts that Israel committed. I'm not sure why Iran wouldn't retaliate when they've tried that and Israel interpreted that as weakness.

  4. I'm not a fan of war, but I can't see how Iran can not retaliate seeing as the Israelis started this and refused to take the chances given to stop.

  5. The Middle East gets really complicated in that respect, but it's completely BS, regardless of which side somebody supports, to call for no retaliation from only one side.

  7.  @Graahk-r8u  Israel can't use those nukes. Iran is right across a relatively small body of water from Russia, not to mention other former Soviet states that probably still have nukes. There's a bunch of Americans that no longer support Israel, using a nuclear weapon against somebody that Israel started the war with is not going to go over well. There's only so much astro-turfing that AIPAC and similar monsters can do to keep the US on Israel's side.

  9.  @michaelrs8010  Iran is a regional power that's mostly interested in preventing another Iran-Iraq war. Prior to that coke-monkey Bush overthrowing Saddam, the Israelis and Iranians were largely on the same side against Iraq. People act like the Iranians are these power-hungry, mad people trying to take over the world, when most of their military ambitions are simple the same ones that everybody else has, they just don't want to lose another million people in a war.

  10.  @Graahk-r8u  Iran can't use the nukes any more than the US, Russians or any other nuclear state. Iran itself is located a short distance from Russia and I doubt the Russians would tolerate a nuclear blast that close to their borders.

  16.  @CT-td9mt  Israel did. I'm not sure why that's so hard for people to remember. This time around, the Iranians are the good guys. They're even the ones that ignored attacks trying to avoid having an unnecessary war break out.
