I thought that I had issues with seeing faces, but it turned out that because I have no mind's eye, I see the faces just fine, I just have no efficient way of storing or manipulating what I've seen and if I need to go between a picture and the face or visa versa, I have real trouble. If somebody, including myself, changes their hairstyle in some significant way, I have to relearn the face as I'll go through a short period of time where it seems strange. I've got some brain damage and I have no direct access to a minds eye, which is probably what causes this. Without access to a mind's eye, it's virtually impossible to figure out what somebody would look like if they changed permanent or semi-permanent features like getting a hair cut or losing substantial amount of weight..
