That's really the thing, companies can produce high quality goods in pretty much any place that isn't an active war zone, however, there's a tendency to only take production overseas to save money and then to not be willing to pay for quality. From my time in China, I now know that the actual cost savings available there isn't particularly large, which is part of why production is getting pushed to other areas of Asia and probably Africa before too long.

  2. The Chinese don't buy Chinese if they can help it. The made in China gear available there is absolute garbage. I can't say anything about India though.
