  1. Definitely, and IMHO, no ebike should ever ship without removable batteries. Between the theft issues and the fact that most people don't have an outlet near their parking spot, it makes little sense to sell an ebike without a removable battery.

  2. I agree with this. I road my first Harley last weekend, it was a rental and happened to be new with only 5miles on it. I ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. It was a softtail and for the kind of riding I was doing, it was quite capable. However, there's a reason I don't own any HD motorcycles and that comes down primarily to the fact that most of the highways around here are curvy and twisty and not the kind of straight lines that the HD baggers are designed for. I was literally scraping within a couple minutes of taking the bike out. But, that being said, branching out is a good thing. HD does make some nice bikes, but hopefully when they go midsized, they'll have the sense to build an engine that's easier to maintain to what they've been designing for their other bikes.
