Yes, doubly so since many areas aren't taking it seriously. Here in WA where the government took it seriously when it first appeared to be spreading locally, the government started urging people to engage in social distancing and not long after started to force businesses to shut down and limit the size of gatherings. It seems to be working, the number of people who are being infected by other people appears to be going down, but it could be as long as several months before we can start opening things up again. Hopefully, by that time, we'll have more ventilators, protective gear and treatments to give the sick. And we were the first state in the country to have confirmed cases. Places where they got infected individuals later and/or didn't take precautions will likely have it worse. And we're fortunate to have a lot of people that can still work from home and draw a paycheck, to keep the economy at least on life support,.
