  1. Yes, I would expect this to be handled the same way that wins are handled if nobody claims them. I'd also expect that contract law would apply here as the owner of the credit card didn't enter into any sort of agreement with the lottery and would likely be entitled to just the resulting refund. As well as potential issues in terms of whether the one that is on their credit card is the one that won.

  2. Around here you can use debit cards or cash. Using credit cards seems like it's asking for all sorts of problems.

  3. That's my suspicion. There are terms associated with lottery tickets and I'm not sure that they would transfer when the original purchase wasn't authorized by an authorized card user.

  4.  @DarkForce2024  Sort of, if it's you paying, that's true, if somebody else gets the card and makes the transaction, then not so much.
