@travisking9895 Indeed, around here they're installing a bunch of roundabouts that are only needed because the county got tired of cleaning up the aftermath when some joker thought they could just blow through an intersection without looking because there's rarely any cars there. It's somewhat less risky if you just slow way down, but even there there's the possibility of hitting a pedestrian because your ore focused on making that turn without stopping.

@shadowprince4482 What gets me is the times where I'll see something in the news about somebody being pulled over for being black, and it happened at night and they're relatively light skinned. I'm curious how on Earth the cops knew that they were black in order to pull them over for driving while black. I can sort of get it if it's somebody with darker skin and a fro where the silhouette can be clearly seen, but sometimes it seems like grasping at straws to blame somebody else.

@brianfrolo245 I kind of feel like if they way they smell weed and don't find any during the search that there should be penalties for making it up.

Keep in mind that it's also illegal to lie to law enforcement. So, any answer other than no, is a lie. So either they can nail you for admitting to a moving violation, or potentially for lying to the police.

user-kv6wh5ut6o Probably, but if you're doing it in a kickass car they might be more interested in that and asking you to show some restraint.

@EPaulIII That's probably one of the lesser reasons why departments moved to body cams. It makes it a lot harder to pull that kind of crap.

I don't agree, I think they should be honest in what they're doing when they're not undercover. But, expecting the cops to show their hand too early just means that genuinely guilty people get off the hook.
