  1. The thing that gets me, is that these school zones require that you take your eyes off the road to see if there are kids present. The ones based on time are less of an issue as you don't need to pay attention to possible kids. Not to mention that kids are short enough that you might not even see them.

  2. The problem is that it's a camera for the school zone, not general speeding. Around here they're only turned on when school is supposed to be in session.

  3.  @fnjesusfreak  that's safer than what we get. Around here it's generally based on whether or not children are present. It requires looking to the side of the street and guessing if there are any children or children looking people.
