  1. Here in WA state we're getting additional cameras to cover bus only lanes and blocking the intersection. That's on top of speed limit cameras and red light cameras As a motorcyclist I'm concerned by them because it puts me in a position where I might get run over if I stop as needed. AFAIK, the cameras do not tell you if it was safe to stop in time. But, at least in theory, I think they've got enough lag time that that situation isn't an issue. I got the flash one time because I stopped and then a moment later started to creep up for my free right, but I never did receive a ticket. They don't count as moving violations for the purpose of insurance.
