@jeremyvolland8508 The actual issue would likely be that the company is overseas and probably not easily collected from, even if you do win. Something of such low value would be a matter for small claims court, which doesn't bring any help collecting on the judgment.

Yes, although if you see a very low rating that can be informative at times.

That's normal, they are a Chinese company operating out of China, the US courts wouldn't have any sort of jurisdiction over the company. At absolute best, you might be able to get a court order seizing the goods that they are shipping to customers, which just leads to its own set of problems as those people would then be without their items, or there might just not be anything to be seized.

I see a fair amount of that on eBay, but most of the time it's legitimate where there's one listing for a bunch of vintage video games and a range on the price, or it's a bundle that you can make. I do wish eBay would offer up a more transparent way of knowing before clicking on the listing, but I get the feeling that it's probably easier said than done.

@BCNeil Precisely. Universal jurisdiction is not a common thing and I think usually for things like crimes against humanity or bribing foreign officials. Don't get me wrong, as somebody that lives in the US, but a very long distance away from Delaware and the other states that are common locations for corporations, it is annoying, but there are a lot of practical issues with making it be where the customer is.

Yes, but how many drills and powerwashers per picture?

@ I used to live over there, there are a lot of ancient Chinese secrets that nobody knows, because it wasn't on the gaokao so nobody bothered to learn it.

@troodon1096 Yes, but it is a bit of a drill. Perhaps the rest will come later.

Possibly, or some unhappy worker is shipping their entire work station overseas one piece at a time.
