@annpeerkat2020 Even in NYC, it costs a retail operator less than $1 a day to store binoculars. Retail space and utilities can be expensive, but it's not that expensive. If you've got any sort of a reasonable storage system you can store a fairly large amount of stuff in a fairly small space.

@LoneTiger Yep, Steve is an attorney and can comment on that thing, and Blackberry is a repair shop owner and can comment on that aspect of it. As a book keeper, the amounts that they're charging for storage is absolutely ridiculous. $25 a day for something that takes up so little space is ridiculous. For example the average retail space rent in NYC is about $57 a month, per square foot. So, a pair of binoculars should be less than $2 a day as a legitimate storage fee, and that includes plenty of profit as a pair of binoculars properly stored is going to take up less than 1/2 of a square foot on a shelf and you can have mutliple levels of shelves to share that space amongst other items. I'm willing to bet that the cost of rent where this shop is located is less than what you'd be looking at in NYC. Just make it something reasonable like $25 a month, and just limit the amount of time that it's allowed to be there to some amount of time and you're good.

@toms382 That may be out of date, or they may have just converted over to being a purely online business. If this is their attitude, they're going to be a purely out of business business soon.
