  1. Paying for transcripts is rather screwed up. That ought to be funded by tax payer dollars, at least for the parties involved in the legal proceedings. 3rd parties having to pay doesn't seem to be too unreasonable. But, it's really messed up how many government services are now being charged to people that may or may not be able to afford to pay it.
