  1. That's the thing right there. Why are these products being allowed into the hands of non-professional drivers at this stage? How many more crashes, injuries and deaths need to occur until they're barred from the streets pending further development.

  2. Yes, which raises the question of why these systems are allowed on the road when they're in this condition. They're not anywhere near ready for fully driving on their own, but they're good enough that it leads to ignorant individuals thinking that it could self-drive. What's more, the use of the term autopilot just encourages the behavior.
