@LilyGazou Not really, having more voters supporting your policy positions causes having a permanent democratic state. If the GOP would start actually supporting popular positions that could change.

@kkhunt7 That's not how Democracy works. The problem here is that you think you should get a chance without having the popular support necessary to have a chance of winning. Splitting the state would be just a way of giving supporters of unpopular positions an increased say in what happens.
