  1. Also, you can be pretty sure that whether they ram this through before the election or not, the appointee is going to be completely unqualified to fill the position and will continue to rule against the constitution when it would curtail the power of the rich and corporations.

  2. That's more or less all they've been doing the last few years, the GOP go their majority and has been ramming through as many nominees as possible. In at least one case the individual was severely unqualified and didn't even know what the terms being used meant.

  3. The GOP was going to do it regardless, the shortsightedness is that they didn't do it themselves and fill the seat that went to Gorsuch. Not to mention that RBG should have retired when Obama could still get justices appointed.
