Because he won't do anything to help the people. The sad thing is that Trump passed that test, I'm not sure if Biden could. He forgets what office he's running for, he forgets what state he's in, he forgets which woman is his wife rather than his sister. Not to mention his inability to get sentences out.

@NickCampbellCampbeln At least that's transparent. In the US the outcome is increasingly rigged. You can vote for whomever you want as long as it doesn't result in regular people see some benefits.

They won't ask him to withdraw. They had to have known that he was suffering from dementia when they rigged the primary in his favor. They really don't care if he wins as long as nobody that's going to help the voters out wins. Trump is a good moneymaker for them.

It's the same thing as Hillary, every time she had a public appearance her poll numbers went down. She lost to Trump because people absolutely hated her personally and in terms of her policies. The fact that they couldn't get enough Democratic voters to back her should have been a red flag that she was likely to go down in the general election. Sadly, for the country and the world, they didn't learn their lesson and now we've got Biden being forced down our throats. Nobody really wants to vote for him, at best he's a vote against Trump. Trump, for all his faults, at least has some people excited to vote for him.

@danielglover1453 And yet they were the ones that gave him the nomination. Bernie's policies would have actually helped their community between medicare for all and the efforts to reduce income inequality. They keep voting for people whose policies have been disastrous.

It wasn't as bad before the media consolidation rules were abolished. At least back then there was some hope that at least one news outlet would uncover the truth.

@JohnMoran He is, but he's not losing by that much more than he was losing to Hillary. If enough progressives refuse to vote for Biden, Trump might win anyways. Really, this election looks more like a race to see how can avoid winning the Presidency. Both parties seem to be working extremely hard to lose. An electable Democrat should be trouncing Trump, and yet, it's still mathematically possible for Trump to win. Yes, a long shot, but still possible.

The voting by mail could doom Trump's efforts to be reelected as the ballots are likely to go out in 2 months. But, that being said, we don't really know how many of the typical progressive voters have had enough and will be voting 3rd party, or not at all. I'll be voting 3rd party, especially if it leads to Trump's reelection as Biden winning just means that the DNC can continue without doing any soul searching.

@johnc.8298 Most likely yes, but his system really wasn't designed to handle a situation where both candidates are horrible options. I won't be surprised regardless of who wins. That being said, it's probably slightly more likely for Biden to win, but it's going to depend upon how many of the progressives decide that they're willing to vote lesser of two evils in key states.

@JohnMoran That's what's so scary, either way it's going to be a shitshow, Biden will have a team that's able to accomplish things, he might be able to roll them back to where they were following Obama, but even that isn't anywhere near good enough to deserve to be President, things sucked under Obama.
