@JRMCNEA Bernie had been pushing for $1200 in his most recent attempt, but had to settle for $600, but with Trump getting involved and pushing for $2k, it allowed Bernie to move the goal post on his demands. Still, it was rather weak of him to vote for the Cares Act without pushing for recurring payments and medicale care. It would have passed with or without him, so he should have gone on TV and demanded for more in order to secure his vote.

@JRMCNEA He should have been pushing the Heroes Act hard, but for some reason, I don't recall him doing so, even though the media I listen to normally covers such things. I guess, he cares more about his friend Joe than essential workers that get nothing. I lost 60% of my hours, but because the company chose to over hire, I never qualified for pandemic relief and that hazard pay would have been huge, but he didn't push for it when he had leverage.
