You don't know what freedom is then. The masks are a minor inconvenience to prevent peple from passing the virus on to others. The only reason people should have still been wearing the masks is that they shots aren't 100% effective and we didn't have enough people vaccinated to do so. The big risk going forward are the people who take the attitude that freedom is the only thing that matters and define freedom in this childish manner.

There's no need, they law doesn't prevent people from asking for that information. It just restricts how the information is stored, used and transmitted.

@vickimeyers2672 They don't, but the people that do have the power take their recommendations seriously. I'd expect that in coming days that they will be reevaluating the restrictions in light of the new guidance and vaccination rates in their state.

@giin97 that's not going to happen, the number of people that want it are vastly outnumbered by those that don't. The most likely situation will be extra privileges for those with the vaccination card and not much else. So you'll have more seats available at sporting events and maybe a faster line you get in and that's about it.

@untunedguitar45 it's a real vaccine, you get the shot and the immune system gets exposed to the pathogen that way. Just because the mechanism is newer, doesn't make out not a vaccine. Also, the technology has been around for a while, it's just not as widespread. If you don't like it, Johnson and Johnson has a more traditional vaccine that is also effective at preventing death and serious illness as a result of covid.
