Not to mention the fact that if we withdraw our support from the party, it will implode over night. I've upped my donations and I won't be voting blue again in the future if he's not the nominee. Either the party let's him have his chance, or the party will die.

The ACA was a step in the right direction, but it was embarassing that he couldn't whip Baucus into getting at least the public option. The seats of all those blue dogs were lost the next election anyways. That being said, Obama wasn't a do nothing, he was a moderate republican running as a democrat. The unidirectional compromise was a feature, not a bug.

@thomashahn631 That's what I'm trying to figure out. Because of her dirty dealing, she can't be the VP pick for Sanders, he might be able to give her a cabinet position or a policy concession. She's completely worthless to Biden though. She hasn't won her home state, which means that she's unlikely to be able to win re-election, assuming that nobody primaries her. Perhaps a consultancy job or something like that? It's really sad to see her sell out to this degree after the point where it might have made a difference. But, the biggest thing, is that she was foolish enough to hire Clinton people to run her campaign. Those idiots lost to the least electable GOP candidate ever. Not since Hubert Humphrey stepped in at the last minute had there been a candidate so unelectable.

I'm looking forward to hearing more about Cornflake and figuring out which woman is his wife. How it is that the rightwing of the party is getting behind Biden is beyond me. Mayor Pete had a better chance of winning.

@elijahculper5522 Whether we deserve it or not, if the DNC doesn't care about us, they're going to be completely irrelevant. They can't survive is a significant chunk of the Sanders' wing of the party leaves. Even a few percent of us leaving the party would ensure that the DNC never wins the Presidency again.

@tevinpayne3076 The thing is that even when the Democrats controlled both chambers with a super-majority in the Senate, they still weren't able to get much done. And they failed to punish the GOP for stealing that SCOTUS nomination.

Yes, I think giving it to Mayor Pete or possibly Klobuchar would have made far more sense. Our main hope here is that Biden screws himself over during the remaining debates.
