And yet they're doing nothing at all to help the grocery and transit workers who are the least easily avoided people. Looking at the state plan here, grocery workers won't be getting any until after they vaccinate most other people. Meanwhile, we're coming into contact with high risk populations on a daily basis and probably spreading it around. There's folks at the store getting sick, but we can't get the vaccines because the state has decided that who spreads isn't an important factor. From what I can tell, it's not until sometime after May that they're going to start vaccinating anybody under 50 that is working at those stores. Meanwhile, we're risking the lives of our loved ones if we cant' avoid them. We're being paid minimum wage in most cases, not being protected, taking on this additional risk and nobody seems to actually care. Grocery and transit workers in particular should have been far closer to the front of the line as we're a major vector by which this thing spreads as people can't avoid us.
