  1. Gov. Inslee is hardly perfect, but he's an actual progressive on many issues and he was very effective in dealing with the outbreak here in WA. And yet, we barely hear him in the press lately as all this is going on, even though the measures that he put into place have been largely effective. We've had deaths, but the number of deaths is likely to be far lower than in other parts of the country, even though he was flying blind due to lack of testing and support from the feds.

  3. What precisely did you expect him to do? Also, that facility, did not launch the state's epidemic, I'm not sure where you got that idea from. WA was the first state to have a known case and we didn't get the testing or any other support that we needed from the CDC. I may well have had covid-19 at that time, but due to a complete lack of testing and near complete lack of test kits, I don't know and likely never will know for sure. We can nitpick all we want, but it's unrealistic to expect that he would have done much better without a lot of information and gear that just wasn't available.
