Yep, if he and Markey filibuster, that's probably going to tie up those candidates in GA and possibly sink their campaigns.

@raymondnoel6053 I'm not so sure about that. Alabama elected Doug Jones, I'm sure there is a line. The bigger question is whether we're there yet. In most cases it's because the democrats don't offer to help them.

I think more likely things would go back to how they were before the protections were passed. Probably smaller platforms and more censorship. I'm not convinced that there will be that much change as most platforms have rules above and beyond what the federal government can enforce.

@Dustin.DeWind I doubt 230 is having that much of an impact at this point as the rules that the tech companies have are stricter tab what the feds can have under the constitution. I certainly won't argue that reexamination and adjustment aren't in order, section 230 is nearly 25 years old and the net has grown enormously since then. The bigger issue is the degree of consolidating that has been going on over the last couple decades where you don't have much choice where you post as opposed to the '90s where there were tons of fora and chat rooms with different rules and norms to choose from.
