  1. Apple has been doing the same thing for many years. If somebody releases an app with functionality that they want, they implement it in iOS and then ban it from the store for duplicating iOS functionality.

  2. The standard of consumer pricing is really dumb. What about other aspects? For example, you effectively have to waive your constitutional right to a trial if you want a cell phone because all of the carriers require that you agree to the waiver. But, all of them do it, the only option for not doing so, is to not have a cellphone. And even worse the landlines increasingly have similar rules as well.
