@John-tx1wk Absolutely, only the totally worthless should be allowed to have multithousand dollar freezers full of ice cream.

Song of the South isn't even particularly racist, especially when compared with other Disney films of the era. Seriously, watch Davy Crockett and keep in mind that Disney will continue to show that, but SotS is too offensive to be streamed. This is more a matter of trying to clean it up before the morons decide to chuck all the books in the fire because they've got nothing better to do. In all fairness, he was trying to clean some of this up before he died, but still. If folks spent half as much time creating their own social support system that they do looking for things to be outraged about, most isms would be minor inconveniences.

@OutSideTheBoxFormat No, the baker was not right. If you offer a service to the public, you have limits on what you're allowed to do. One of these limits is that you can't deny people service based on their sexual oriention. They'd also be wrong if it was due to their race or disability status. If they had such an issue, they could simply choose not to sell wedding cakes.

TBH, not publishing them as standalone books seems reasonable. They should just bundle the books together along with the illustrations that he did producing anti-Nazi propaganda. It would really help to enlighten folks as to what the man himself thought. He had been editing the books in more recent years to update them for things like this, he also was producing books that were deliberately targeting racism at the same time when racist images were in his other books.
