  1. If they actually give people the money to pay their bills and get fed, probably not much. Certainly nothing compared with the deaths from allowing the virus to continue to rampage through the population. I personally work at a grocery store and there's no way that we're going to be allowed to stay at home, there just aren't enough national guardsmen out there to distribute food to the entire nation without us and the folks that work our supply chains. But, he should be able to get us PPE, hazard pay and ensure that when we do get sick that we're taken care of. Sadly, no matter what happens, there's going to be essential workers that die in the line of duty and it's an absolute embarrassment that we're not being compensated accordingly. We're not like health care providers that are trained and paid to deal with this. Most of us are making minimum wage or close to it and it's just not enough. Unlike most other workers, we have to deal directly with the public and we're basically cut off from the unemployment assistance that everybody else got as we're essential.
