  1. It's projection, they assume that because they're dirty crooks that everybody else must be. I remember many years ago when the state GOP sued to try to get the gubernatorial results overturned due to "fraudulent" votes, not only did they lose the case, but ultimately, all of the removed votes wound up being for their candidate. Not that the Democrats are particular fans of democracy, they just choose to rig things where federal law doesn't mandate better behavior.
