@rockfire1669 That's because the CIA and DoD were ultimately responsible. I doubt they went so far as to plan it or fund it, there's no evidence of that, but they did train Osama Bin Laden and the attacks were because we have military personnel in Saudi Arabia. Simply removing our forces from a country that's wealthy enough to have its own military or not training them would likely have been enough to prevent 9/11 from happening and the resulting hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians killed in the aftermath of the various resultant military actions.
