I see a bunch of people trying to pressure me into voting blue no matter who, and I see Democratic leaders that are committed to doing absolutely nothing to delay or prevent the damage from being done. I'm sick of hearing that this kind of nonsense will result in there being hell to pay when nobody seems to actually follow through on the threat.

  3. It's not going to happen if the Democrats aren't prepared to actually fight for the wishes of the voters. And, I see far too many people making excuses as to why we still need to vote blue no matter who, even though the party leaders aren't ever held accountable for their incompetence and corruption. The politicians should be afraid to cross the voters because the voters will vote them out of office if they don't do what they're supposed to do.

  4. There was an alternative? The main alternative I saw was kicking this down the road a bit further, but the GOP has made no secret about wanting to do this and the Democrats have made no secret about not really caring to stop them. We get these temporary measures to put it off for another day because the party leaders would rather be able to run against the GOP doing things like this than to put measures into place to make it harder to do. Had we gotten a public option or been given the right to enroll in the same plan that the politicians have, we likely wouldn't be in this position as it would be very hard to cut that.

  5. Don't forget the Democratic leadership that keeps moving to the right trying to get rightwing voters while offering their base as little as possible and then fighting hard not to deliver on any of it.
