  1. Because this isn't about them, they'll get there's, it's too late to address that. What this is about is Gen X and onward that are getting progressively more and more screwed. If nothing is done, by the time I retire, the trust will be paying out less than what we paid in. Meaning that I would have been better off just saving the money on my own rather than putting it into the social security program, and I'm only in my early 40s.
