TBH, I'm not even sure this is cannon fodder, in my view, it's not really cannon fodder if you're not at least trying to attack from another direction or in a different way.

@realiteechecka It's also worth noting that the style of warfare that they are used to involves throwing large numbers of bodies against the opposing forces until they're overwhelmed, but with more modern strategies and technologies, that just doesn't work. A cheap drone carrying a grenade can do a fair amount of damage as do those anti-tank drones. It's pretty much impossible to keep up a military campaign if you keep losing multimillion dollars drones to drones that only cost a couple thousand dollars, tops.

Keep in mind that the North Korean soldiers almost certainly have family back home and if they do things like that and it angers their leader, there would be consequences. I doubt very much that they sent any personnel that didn't have family that could be used to ensure that they don't defect.

@bongbong-bongbong-bongbong Research is cheap, and Russia is an alternate means for things to make their way into North Korea.
