  1. Unfortunately, he is unlikely to make $5m in total over the course of his entire life, even excluding whatever jail sentence he gets. And obviously, even the price of restoration, assuming it's possible, is likely more than he'll be able to afford as well. Yes, it is fortunate that nobody was hurt or killed, but these items are only marginally less precious than a human life and just as irreplaceable.

  2. TBH, that part of the story was a bit thin. Did she work at the museum or express a particular interest in those works of art? It still wouldn't make sense, but at least I could see the connection. If it was just about destroy random stuff, there's a lot of stuff out there that's simply easier to access for destruction.

  3. What do you expect? Men have been increasingly left out as schools punish masculinity and fail to provided boys with the equal education that they're legally entitled to. Then they get to college, if they do, and it's more of the same with 2/3 of the students being women. There's only so many trades to go into and jobs in those trades, so you get this emasculated group of men that don't know how to go about things in a civilized way and have been provided with precisely no guidance in terms of how to be men, because conveniently enough, the vast majority of the teachers in the K-12 system are women who have no idea how to be a man. I'm not suggesting that we all stick to traditional views on gender, there's significant issues with that, but boys, and girls, really need people around them to help them figure things out. And being constantly exposed to this sort of demonization and negativity can't possibly be helpful in figuring out how to be a productive member of society.

  4.  @Mb91555  Citation needed, how would you even know. It's pretty well established that women will let each other off the hook for all by the most serious offenses and then unionize against men. How often do you hear a woman's girlfriends disagree with her when she badmouths her boyfriend or husband?
