  1. The problem is that if you're still picking your nose as an adult, that it takes more than just wanting to stop to stop. It's probably something along the lines of body focused repetitive behavior at that point and it's tricky to break a habit that we've likely had for decades and are doing without much thought. I'm guilty as well and the fact that I've got chronic inflammation in there doesn't help.
