I think they are, at least those that take a class. The issue tends to be actually using the advice. A lot of the things that I do to keep my bike shiny side up are completely counter-intuitive. Leaning in on a turn isn't something that most people naturally do as everything in our brain is telling us that if we lean to the side that's down, that we're going to tip it over. When the reality is that leaning in on a turn tends to push the bike up and you won't actually fall unless you've already at the absolute maximum lean angle and really beyond.

Great video as always. Reducing lean angle is quite helpful if you're ever riding in heavy rain or snow as you want to keep that bike as close to vertical as possible all the time. Granted, that requires riding fairly slowly, but if it's snowing or that wet, you probably shouldn't be riding very fast anyways. But yeah, most of the time, visibility is more of an issue than lean angle, unless you're riding a land barge.

IKR, I don't think I've seen that movie in probably 20 years. That scene in particular was awesome. First movie that Mike Myers ever did where he played more than one character.
