@BTrain-is8ch That's the mistake, it seems like the taxes are increasing because most of those people weren't paying for health coverage themselves, it was usually being paid for by the employer. Also, keep in mind that there's no similar concern over defense spending even when it's something like 6-7x the amount of money that it would take to give everybody high quality health care and still be over funded compared with the next most funded militaries in the world. The comparison should be witth the current health care spending, not simply the taxes and the tax itself should be on businesses and the ultrawealthy.
