@illustriouschin Yep, that's exactly why my parents got a laser printer. They don't do a lot of printing and by the time they wanted to print, the ink would be dried up. Since toner is a powder, it can't get any more dry. The main downside is that laser prints do smear more and can have issues over time. But, that's not likely to be an issue for most people. It's more of an archivist issue than anything else.

And I thought it was ridiculous when my parent's last printer wouldn't print black and white because one of the color cartridges was out of ink.
