Yes, and I'm not really sure what the big deal is. The Democrats rigging their primaries for more GOP friendly candidates was far more shocking and far more problematic.

At this point, I think the only candidates worth voting for are RFKJR and Stein, and of the two RFKJR has the most hope of actually influencing the election. He could plausibly take some states, so it kind of blows my mind that they haven't kicked Harris and/or Biden off the ticket and offered him a spot.

IKR, I saw the video of this already and I didn't see anything particularly weird about it. This is a case where it's rather unfortunate that English doesn't have multiple options for we. Some languages do allow for a we that includes both speakers and one that doesn't.

John Hinkley Jr., has entered chat.

Voting for Biden is also throwing your vote away. At least on paper RFKJR has some principles. I don't think it's that weird that Trump is calling RFKJR, that's called politics. RFKJR is running as an independent and we've apparently decided that it was OK for Obama to call a bunch of democratic candidates and arrange for them to all drop out as a way of rigging the 2020 Democratic primaries. Trump trying to be in cahoots with RFKJR is far less shocking as they do share one or two policy positions. That being said, I don't know how many of the RFKJR supporters are going to go to Trump versus Biden versus Stein versus just not voting at all.

We is not entirely clear without other language to indicate what parties are involved.

As opposed to Biden that didn't just offer Bernie nothing to drop the race, but chose Kamala Harris as an F U to his supporters.

That's a stretch, the Kennedy family has been lefties for quite a few decades and are definitely to the left of anything that's in the GOP at this point.

Essentially Biden did. As the sitting President, Biden was pretty much guaranteed the Democratic party nomination. So, it was more or less run as something else or burn through a lot of cash campaigning against somebody that might not be beatable. The calculus has changed as the donors have started to take notice of just how weak Biden is and how Harris isn't really able to do enough to make up for it. If the Democrats are so concerned about Trump the best thing to do at this point might be to just not have a nominee and just pledge support to RFKJR. Which will not happen for so many different reasons.

Presumably that's why Trump wants a deal.

Why? If they did that, then there would truly be no point in 3rd party candidates ever running. The main point of 3rd party candidates in the race is to pressure the major party candidates to adjust their messaging and promises. This isn't like a parliamentary system when 3rd and 4th party candidates routinely win elections for major races.
