  1. I thought the incentive to stay home was the pandemic. The unemployment increase was the incentive to not start assassinating the rich and powerful.

  2. Even the Dems have failed miserably on dealing with the hazard pay. They've proposed $13 an hour, but the unemployed are getting the equivalent of $15 an hour for 40 hours. To make matters worse, that $13 an hour is based upon the number of hours worked and doesn't take into account the increased risk related to working essential jobs.

  3.  charmander charmander  So, where are those good paying jobs then? The reality is that there aren't enough jobs that pay above minimum wage for everybody to realistically move up. That's the result of decades of hollowing out of the economy and shipping the good paying jobs overseas. I'd be more than happy to leave the minimum wage alone, if people could reasonably expect to make more after a few years.
