It's worth noting that this is the time to start advocating for whatever it is that you want to happen as both parties are the weakest they've been in at least a century. The GOP is basically the party of Trump and whether he's able to finish the term, or not, sometime in the next 4 years the only thing that the GOP is about right now is going away. Likewise, if this doesn't trigger a real reckoning with the DNC and a thoroughly cleaning of house, then the lefties, centrists and progressives need to flat out leave the party completely, because there is no hope. The DNC is going to continue to throw winnable elections and be rewarded for it with fundraising dollars.
