@R8DYSETGO For decades around here it was a poorly kept secret that if you wanted to murder somebody, you just had to hop behind the wheels of a car while doing it and that would pretty much guarantee a super short sentence. I suspect that there were some limitations to it, but vehicular manslaughter and the like carried a significantly lower penalty than other forms of manslaughter. It has been fixed so that there is parity, but it was ridiculous that for so many decades using a car resulted in a lower penalty than if you did it in some other way.
