  1. Most of the people that want things reopened need money to survive. There's a few plutocrats that want things opened for financial reasons, but everybody else wants to go back to work because they're in dire straits. The fact that neither party feels like doing anything about it is a damning indictment of our political process. Even those of us that have had to continue working have gotten nothing but lip service from the government. We still haven't received the kind of enhanced benefits that the unemployed are getting, even as we take the risks associated with the front line.
