  2.  @fredhair  no, but the zeitgeist kind of does. Web 2.0 is all about profiting off of the contributions of end users rather than having to contribute anything other than the site. Whereas with web 1.0, you had to make some sort of contribution if you wanted to get paid.

  3.  @thegoldenatlas753  nope, Wikipedia is web 2.0, nearly all the content on it was user generated, hence web 2.0. The Merriam Webster dictionary site is basically 100% their creation, which is typical of web 1.0 thinking.
